Major League

I designed advertising concepts of the performance [Major League]. I made main images of the poster, stickers, ticket, and video for SNS commercials.

[Major League] is a performance criticizing nonsenses of arts-sponsorships and telling about how our misconceptions of arts make artist isolated. A choreographer wanted to communicate the isolations of artists and critical perspective of thinkings. So I choose a main metaphor, “an outlying island” with dancer’s photos to show the interval between real life and artists. And for stickers and tickets, we decided to parody the language of Barbara Kruger which gives strong motivations to people to act with simple texts.
